Friday again, and this means weekend and Friday Bangers! New music for the masses and you iPod.

Starting of with well-played La Roux, we have YAR (yet another remix) of her mega hit “In For The Kill”. Tek Step did a nice dubstep-ish mix.

Next we have the Brooklyn based electro duo Designer Drugs. They recently released a new single “Riot” and Hejven.se is the one to bring you the shiat. Watch out it’s massive.

Yet again we bring you Deadmau5! This brand new single from the Mause is called “Dr. Funkenstein” and a guy named Danny Jay did a heavy remix!

Moving on to a track with a little lighter beat and more vocal. American Amanda Blank released “Shame On Me” and Jacknife Lee remixed.

This next track is from alway powerful Gossip. “Standing In The Way Of Control” have been remixed by Soulwax.

Kasper Bjørke comes from the heart of the thriving Copenhagen electronic scene. After more than a decade as a busy producer and DJ, Kasper has released his work on labels like Plant Music, Fine, Thugfucker and V2 Records and in addition received a Danish Music Award as Best Producer, for the well known project Filur, which he still runs with his old friend Tomas Barfod.

“The new album is quite a moody album” Kasper says, “with many proper song compositions on it. Some of them, like the singles “Young Again” or “Alcatraz”, could even be categorized as modern pop songs. Half the album is instrumental and the other half features singers that I admire and love for their songwriting and vocal expression.”

Kasper collaborated with Jacob Bellens of “I Got You On Tape” and “Murder” fame to write and feature the song Young Again. The brilliant song is a “dark, trippy lovesong with an edge”, Kasper states, but it comes with a strong catchy pop-appeal perfectly intoned by Jacob Bellens. The strings have been arranged and performed by no-one less than Davide Rossi who is known for his work for The Verve, Coldplay, Goldfrapp and most recently on the new Röyksopp album.

We are proud to have “Young Again” with remixes by WhoMadeWho & Tomboy and Serge Santiago.
The second single “Alcatraz” drops early 2010 with remixes by Jimpster, Zombie Disco Squad, Gluteus Maximus and Kenton Slash Demon (Silas Moldenhawer and Jonas Kenton from When Saints Go Machine), followed by the album “Standing on top of Utopia” in February 2010.

Yay it’s Friday again! This means 5 crackeling bangers for you and your portable player.

Starting out with the always neat and often posted Fever Ray and her dark and special sound. Rex The Dog remixed the track “Triangle Walks” but kept the sound of Karin Dreijer with a twist!

Next up we have a mashup. To the background music of Justice, Wale and Lady Gaga are rapping their way through the track.

Canadian MSTRKRFT is always up for a good party. Their track “Fist of God” is just booming with energy.

The same goes for Swedish Hugg & Pepp. With their house sound and the touch of Tocadisco the track “Sweet Rosie” is bound to be a banger!

Grum spits out disco-tech ready for the dance floor! And it doesn’t get much better when the track swooped by German FutureFlashs for additional disco rhythms!

Vi har tidligere haft FoulHouse‘s remix der er temmelig hårdt og med massere af distortion og cut’s og det nu så hypede A-Trak remix ligger bestemt også i den tunge ende!

Brasilianske Andre Pipipi har re-funket A-Trak’s mix og det giver en lethed over tracket som kun opfordrer til dans og fest!

Et Donald Glaude og Ross.FM Mashup af “Ghosts N Da Ayre” og Ross.FM vocal mix af “Faxing Berlin”.

Donald Glaude er house-DJ med base i San Diego. Da han var lille spillede han klassiske instrumenter som kontrabas og violin. Men så fik han øre for funkmusikken og begyndte at eksperimentere med mixere og red med på bølgen af “turntablism” og fik hurtigt opbygget et navn. Han fik endda tilegnet sig en hel fredag på en club i Seattle hvor mange DJ’s spillede før de blev ægte kendt.

Ross.FM er også house-DJ, men med base i San Francisco. Han hoster måske Californiens mest populære mixshow, Housenation.
