Fresh release from Brazilian Gutto Serta. H.O.S.H and Solomun already approved it, and so do we. Perfect for mid-night sets, in between the quiet stuff and the noisy stuff. This one’s out on Italian label GreelPound.

Shades Of Grey – Back To The Future (Peter Horrevorts Discoid Remix)

Ohhh! Funk alert! We’ve been loving Peter’s grooves for a long time, and this recent piece from him is also one of the funkier we’ve heard in while. If you aren’t feeling this, there’s something wrong with you.

Nick Holder – A Strange Delight
We recently discovered Canada’s Nick Holder, he really did some great tracks where A Strange Delight is one of the best. Quirky, jazzy and deep.

WhoMadeWho – Inside World (Digitalism Remix)

WhoMadeWho getting the fuck remixed out of them once more. Latest remix of “Every Minute Alone” by Tale of Us was massive, and now they just got remixed again, big time. This time it’s a five day fresh remix from the Hamburg powerhouse Digitalism. Absolute late night killer, out on Kompakt.

Arcade Fire – The Suburbs (Ripa’s Edit)

Ahhh, boy do we like this. “Ripa” puts a very unique touch to the ‘burbs. Slow. Catchy. Sex. Less talk, more listening. Listen.

Daphni – Ahora (Margot Remix)

We included one more track, we’re sorry! We couldn’t cut this one away. Most of you are hopefully acquainted with Caribou aka Dan Snaith. However you might not know that he also produces under the alias Daphni. Border Community’s Margot put his touch on Ahora, and the result is some mindblowing, out-dubbed and hypnotic sounds. Perfect for late/early, sundazin’ & hazin’.

Oliver – Footsteps

I HEAR FOOTSTEPS! Ok we x2 cheated! But we are two, so we think it’s ok! This one hasn’t been out for more than a few weeks, but we’re really loving it. Disco at it’s finest from The States. They actually beat Louis La Roche with the sample, as he used it too for a track in his upcoming album, and therefor he did not include it. (As a result he put his version up for free download, so go grab it at SoundCloud!

Normalt syntes vi at moombahton bliver utroligt irriterende, og specielt i længden. LAZRtag er muligvis et af de bedste eksemplarer på en kunstner og remixer, som kan hoppe rundt i genrerne. Nu har han altså smidt sig ud i moombahton – på den lidt hidsige måde, men det kan vi virkelig godt lide. Fantastisk bootleg.

Far Too Loud’s EP ‘Ready To Stomp’ blev udgivet i september. Det er et vanvittigt fedt track med en afsindig intensitet. Det gik først rigtig op for os hvor vildt det egentlig er, da vi droppede det til BP#20 i Pumpehuset, hvor folk virkelig følte det.

Vi er nødt til at nævne Pendulum herrernes sideprojekt ‘Knife Party’. Det er ufatteligt godt og vi synes det er fedt at drum’n'bass kunstnerne folder sig ud med electro/house, hvilket de også gjorde lidt på deres nyeste album. Dette er deres første EP, som endda er gratis for download. Internet Friends er et andet af tracksne – resten kan diskuteres hvorvidt de er gode eller irriterende, men det her er godt!

“Palace” is the first track from A$AP Rocky debut mixtape “LIVELOVEA$AP”. The track is a BIG opener with a unmistakably homage to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, The production is a ghostly triumphant recipe from Clams Casino, which sound amazing.. the whole mixtape is really great, and have this melancholy sound going on, and since I am a sucker for everything that sounds like minor chords, I really love this sounds cape A$AP Rocky has created on this banging debut mixtape.

I’m going to see these guys in concert on Monday in Vega, and I’m really excited. The debut album of Norway’s Kvelertak is a powerful piece of metal music. The band has successfully blended rock ‘n’ roll and black metal together with a sludgy, heavy production. The album is built on good songwriting, mighty riffs, righteous guitar leads, and grim harsh vocals. It’s as melodic as it is aggressive, and as accessible as it is heavy. Every track on this album is damn good on a Friday night, and pretty much on every day you like to get your metal on, but my favorite is the track “Fossegrim” so here yo go.. Enjoy!!

Since its almost Christmas, I picked out a song from Sufjan Stevens Box-set album “Songs for Christmas”. It’s not bangers, it’s just Christmas songs as it should be, and I can grantee you, it’s the only Christmas songs that will be played in our house..

For those who care I have an admission and an ambition.

I’d like to admit that I love the Copenhagen nightlife. But I get so bored of listening to the music being played. Almost every club seems to book the same boring, untalented, pseudo DJ’s that all play the same kind of music and has no technical skills.

My all-time-favourite DJ’s in Copenhagen are Djuma Soundsystem, Djuna Barnes and Flip … and myself, of course. But actually I’ve decided to take a break behind the DJ-decks. I have a gig in Berlin for New Years Eve which will be my last one for a long time. Instead I will focus on my ambition: to produce music in my new studio. Since the age of 9 I’ve been playing music and now I feel like exploit those skills and make my own.

Beside being a judge with ambitions I spend my everyday at the University writing my ethnology-bachelor about subcultures and social communities and when I’m off I go home listening to these tracks that really blows my mind at the moment:

Dear readers – it is time for some danish updates!

The danish Sensation White hero Flip released a new edit and a new remix.

The first track is an edit of Lana Del Rey‘s “Video Games”. Lana is newcoming singer/songwriter. Originally it’s a quiet and moody track with a beautiful sad vocal. Flip added some serious beats to it and made the vocal slightly faster.

Next up is a remix of Terry Grant & Matthew Pusti’s “My Gun, The Sun”. In collaboration with Rodsten (aka Lars Bjarno from former Djuma Soundsystem with whom flip also did a splendid Bon Iver-remix) he created a sweet house-ish track with a heavy bass and a vocal that is almost taken from the 90′s – not being a bad thing though.

Michael Senna & Peter Zohdy have been a favorite duo of mine for a while now. Creating tracks so simple but still hauntingly awesome.
The first track from them today is “All in Vain”. With a thick disco bassline and a stunning vocal this instantly became hit-potential in my world. Since the release last night it has been on repeat. Look forward to the release!

Track number two from the gentleman duo is called “Dirty Talk”. It too has a funky vibe to it, but the vocal is more of a slow talking one and disco none the less!
