Today it’s the 2nd Sunday of advent.

After a weekend with a lot of nu-disco on my head I really fell in love with this track by Chromeo. It’s a re-work of their track “Hot Mess” from the Business Casual album. This time it features a lot more vocal by La Roux. It really adds something to the track with her sweet voice.

The track is impossible to obtain in a decent quality and without radio speakers in it but here’s a 160 kbps clean version.
It’s also impossible to buy in this side which I find strange!

Starting of with well-played La Roux, we have YAR (yet another remix) of her mega hit “In For The Kill”. Tek Step did a nice dubstep-ish mix.

Next we have the Brooklyn based electro duo Designer Drugs. They recently released a new single “Riot” and Hejven.se is the one to bring you the shiat. Watch out it’s massive.

Yet again we bring you Deadmau5! This brand new single from the Mause is called “Dr. Funkenstein” and a guy named Danny Jay did a heavy remix!

Moving on to a track with a little lighter beat and more vocal. American Amanda Blank released “Shame On Me” and Jacknife Lee remixed.

This next track is from alway powerful Gossip. “Standing In The Way Of Control” have been remixed by Soulwax.

La Roux kommer med et bud på et sommerhit. Tracket hedder Bulletproof og er allerede blevet remixet af flere forskellige.
Britiske Elly Jackson står bag projektet sammen med co-producer Ben Langmaid. Musikken er inspireret af 80′er-rytmerne i datidens synthpop fra bl.a. Eurythmics og Depeche Mode. Singlen “Bulletproof” er sat til at udkomme d. 22. juni.

Just A Band leverer klart det remix der er hårdest. Her er tale om en godt omgang distortion og hårde rytmer.
Landsmanden Foamo står bag et at de hårdere remix, der befinder sig lidt mere i trance-genren.
Midfield General har også haft maskinen i gang og det har Zinc også. Her er vi lidt mere ovre i noget dance.

For noget tid siden lovede vi lidt flere tracks fra The Twelves her på bloggen. Det løfte vil nu blive indfriet.

De to brasilianere fra Rio de Janeiro, Joao Miguel og Luciano Oliviera, danner tilsammen The Twelves. Navnet fik de fra den dato de tilfældigvis begge har fødselsdag: 12. juli 1980.
De befinder sig i en lille boble af elektronisk musik, hvor genrer som disco og 80′ernes synth-pop må siges at have sat sit præg. Vi snakker for det meste lette hurtige rytmer der er særdeles venlige på dansegulvet.

Vi starter med et remix af La Roux‘s hitnummer “In For The Kill”.
Dernæst kommer et par remix af Radiohead sangene “Recokner” og “There There”.
Så blænder vi op for endnu et hit, nemlig Black Kids tracket “I’m Not Nonna Teach Your BF How To Dance”.
Sidst men ikke mindst har vi et originaltrack fra The Twelves der hedder “Works For Me”.
