This Thursday (Jan. 27th) something wild it gonna happen. Where you ask?

The awesome boys from Lulu Rouge will be performing a DJ set at the bad boy Villains Club.
The club is reoccurring every Thursday and have had some amazing bookings through it’s lifetime both danish and international.

But this Thursday you will be able to experience no other than Lulu Rouge on stage!
The boys who became known in the mainstream with their hit “Bless You” featuring Mikael Simpson. It’s been remixed by dozens of artists, but best know is the Trentemøller remix.
Presented to you here is a remix by young danish talent Mike Sheridan.

Two other talented youngsters, Electrojuice did a great remix og Lulu’s “Sweeter than Sweet”. Take a listen.

The resident DJ’s Sousa/Schmidt will also be lighting a fire under the party and here you can hear their “Safira” released on the Trailerpark Festival vol. 1.

As a little bonus today we are also featuring Kúra with their newly released EP “Multicolor“.

Kúra consists of Copenhagen-based Brynjar Bjarnfoss and Reykjavik-based Fanney Ósk Þórisdóttir. Brynjar does most of the producing while Fanney is the vocal base for Kúra.

The “Multicolor” EP was released in the beginning of December. The genre is electronic and dub-ish with a beautiful vocal and melodic tune.

The EP has been remixed by some heavy names, Lulu Rouge and Max Cooper among (the latter has remixed Hot Chip and Kylie Minogue).

“Multicolor” is released on Bujakasja Records.

Okay, so it’s been a while since we did an actual music update. It’s mostly been festival reports and pictures, so now it’s time for some real music on the site to keep the summer going.

The danish DJ Hankat alias Max Roden Thelin just released his first track on the Sound of Copenhagen label. “Be the First” is a sweet kinda-minimal tech slow beat track with a few surprising details. The track has already been remixed by some high profiles remixers and among these are a few worth mentioning.
As always Acid Washed delivers the goodies. The remix has that great 80′s feel to it and at the same time it builds up like a charm.
Frederik Rosenstrand also did a great mix of this track. It’s a bit more in the vocal-chill out genre but it’s definitely worth a listen.

Meanwhile the two guys from Lulu Rouge, DJ T.O.M and DJ Buda released a very special remix. It’s a track for this years Stella Polaris compilation.
Lulu remixed the good old Moby track Natural Blues. It’s an amazing remix bringing new life to the old track. The way it keeps on going with the vocal and slow bass is just wicked.
