I am DJ ER DU DUM ELLER HVAD, I hope I can make your Friday/weekend more lovely, the last two years have been crazy dj’ing nearly everywhere in Denmark and a bit in France and London too! Hope that you guys will enjoy the sound of my Friday:

1: Kuar (Olof Dreijer Remix) – Emmanuel Jal

First pick is i a crazy remix from Olof Dreijer, my brother who also dj´s sended me this track, and it blew me of! I have never heard of this guy before but this track sure make the dance floor bounce!

2: Silvia (Savage Skulls & Tony Senghore Remix) – Miike Snow

The second choice is a track I’m playing every weekend, its the best breakdown and the release is perfect, I really love this tune!

3: Canoa – DJ Gregory & Gregor Salto

I don’t know why, but at the time I’m really into the African sound, like the first track it just makes me happy! Lovely break and the girls are crazily sexy when they move to it! (It just makes the winter a little bit warmer!) Check out the beautiful break at 4:03!

4: Hang With Me (Pumped By Hot City) – Robyn

I’m not into only playing secret underground, I play for the people and this track is perfect for that, the build up is cool and strong, and there’s a lot of new style breaks that makes the remix by hot city a lovely dancefloor banger

5: Limit to Your Love – James Blake

last track is for sundays, i think i have heard this track 400 times the last week! the video is beautifully made by the best danish video director: Martin De thurah, chill and lots of bass! lol to everybody see you soon out there!

Yesterday the Swedish queen of electro pop, Robyn, released her fifth studio album. The album is called “Body Talk Pt. 1″ and you might already heard Robyns lovely voice in the radio or on the net.
This first album is one of three mini-albums in the “Body Talk”-series Robyn is to release in 2010.

The first official single from the album, “Dancing On My Own” was released on June the 1st and it seems like it’s going to be one of the big tunes this summer. But you might have stumbled upon “Fembot” or “Dancehall Queen” as these have been released to digital outlets and have won massive attention through airplay.

“Dancing On My Own” has already been remixed by Fred Falke and Jakwob (with a nice dubstep-ish feel!) among others.

Robyn worked together with Diplo on the track “Dancehall Queen” which was leaked as “No Hassle”.

The beautiful blonde Swedish girl also worked with Röyksopp on the more moody and dark track “None of Dem”.

After around half an hour of sweet electro pop with Robyns characteristic voice and “feel” you get somewhat surprised by the two last tracks, “Hang With Me” and “Jag Vet En Dejlig Rosa”. The first of them is an acoustic track and far from the party and electro sounds that the rest of the album has to offer. And “Jag Vet En Dejlig Rosa” is Robyns take on a traditional Swedish melody also far from the electro sounds.

All in all the album is definitely worth your sweet little savings! Go buy it here.

Så blev det endelig fredag! Ikke at det betyder noget i denne uge, for vi har alligevel alle sammen påskeferie. Fra nu af vil vi hver fredag poste 5 vilde weekends-tracks der kan sparke røv i sagerne. Vi indfører hermed begrebet Friday Bangers!
Vi fortsætter hvor Bloc Party slipper med et dejligt remix fra Fake Blood. Her har de haft fat i Armand Van Helden’s I Want You Soul.

Næste track er et GrandTheft remix af Chris Cornell’s Part of me. Drengene fra Canada har sat lidt mere tempo på drengen og gjort tracket mere club-venligt.
Tredje nummer er en gammel klassiker der er blevet nyfortolket af Ocelot. De har haft gang i en ordentlig omgang cut’n'slice af Robyn’s gode game Be Mine.

Phoenix har mildest talt være hypede de sidste par måneder. Deres mest populære track er pt. 1901 som kan hentes gratis på deres side! Den i Cape Town bosatte sydafrikaner DJ Lapse har haft tracket under kærlig behandling og der er der kommet et virkelig sprødt nummer ud af. Det oser af sommer og dans!

Sidste track er en personlig favorit. De to drenge fra Liverpool, Richard Sharkey og Peter Sar, har pumpet hastigheden lidt op på King of Leons megahit Sex on Fire og det spiller rigtig godt! Husk forresten koncerten to dage efter Roskilde-festivalen for dem der kan overskue så meget musik i ferien.
