Friday has hit us and I’ll be bringing you a neat little mix of songs. Starting with the funky and up-beat “California Soul” by old school Marlena Shaw. Remixed by A.Skillz. Breakbeat all the way.

Next we find a remix by canadian Le Matos. I lost my heart to this dude when he did a perfect remix of Coeur de pirate’s “Comme des enfants”. This track is by Johan Agebjorn and is kinda nu-disco and summer-ish.

Arthur Russell died at the age of 41. He was a skilled chellist, singer and composer. Posthumously this track, “Walk on the Moon”, has been remixed by Labyrinth Ear. An amazing and moody track.

Everybody should know Moby. Not only for his music but also for his photos. “Lie Down In Darkness” is a great vocal track remixed by Arno Cost.

Last track today is by one of my favourites: Steve Aoki. Brutal and distorted! PeaceTreaty did the remix. Either you love it or you hate it!

DJ Sharon knows how to do that old school melody. Cant help but love it. Mexican 3balleros mostly dance around the WHOLE dancefloor. Lets make that a scandi ting too!!! loooook!!! :

Tambor they play in the coastal regions of Venezuela and other places (I guess). Like in USA, where LOL Boys take tambor music and turn it into mystical bass music. Heartwarming and lusty stuff if one has the right people to play for.

Mad moombahstep bootleg by our dear masterchamp homie from NYC, Sabo. 90′s love nevva sounded mo’ bangin’!!! And then he MUUUUUUURDAAAAAA it on the drop! then u mix out fast unless its yr last tune.

Its time for that northen american indian vibe to mix in. This one is topdogg Max Le Daron. And it seems obvious that we need to learn to match chanting and metal! hahaha!!! serious apache metal swag. uff!!!

Efter et par dages inaktivitet vender vi stærkt tilbage med et par tracks.
Først og fremmest med et Justice-remix. Den franske elektroduo har haft fat i Lenny Kravitz forrygende nummer “Let Love Rule” i anledning af at albummet “Let Love Rule” bliver genudgivet i en 20 års jubilæums deluxe edition.

I vores Roskilde kavalkade kommer her et dejligt track fra Friendly Fires, remixet af svenskerne med det ikke særlig svenskklingende navn Air France. Og nøøj hvor det oser af sommer, øl og festival.

Sidst men ikke mindst har vi et remix af The Killers “Spaceman”. Remixet er et samarbejde mellem amerikanske Steve Aoki og italienske The Bloody Beetroots. Vi har før set at dette samarbejde kan føre til noget stort, hør bare Rødbedernes “WARP 1.9″.
